Christian, Spirit-Led Counseling

If we are able to heal ourselves, it is because He gives us the capacity. He is the ultimate Healer. In spite of what some Christians may believe about the mental health field, my journey within it has only deepened my conviction in His power to heal. This healing comes as the Lord might say, “not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit" (Zechariah 4:6). In Christian counseling, my role is not to take His place but rather to remove the barriers that prevent people from hearing His voice directly. I’m here to partner with you in listening to His direction.

To accomplish this I invite the Holy Spirit into my interventions. These interventions tap into the deepest parts of ourselves, or what I would call our spirit. Our spirit exists in a place much deeper than just our feelings and thoughts. When a Christian taps into their spirit, they encounter the Holy Spirit. For the Christian, I find these interventions move at an even more rapid pace because He is with us in the process.
